Diagnostics and repairing of electrical machinery
We offer two systems of diagnostics:

MOTORMONITOR™
A non-invasive condition monitoring and diagnosing system.

Use MOTORMONITOR to easily diagnose these problems:
•  cracked or broken rotor bars,
•  cracked rotor end rings,
•  high resistance joints in squirrel cage windings,
•  casting porosities or blow-holes in aluminum die-cast rotors,
•  poor joint brazing in fabricated rotors
•  rotor winding problems in slip-ring induction motors
•  stationary or rotating air gap irregularities
•  unbalanced magnetic pull
•  mechanical unbalance
•  bent shaft, thermal bow
•  out-of-round stator, rotor or bearings.

The system allows:
•  to diagnose immediately,
•  continuous analysis,
•  scheduling repair activities,
•  analysis after repair,
•  storage of tests data and results for trending and further analysis.

Benefits that gives you MOTORMONITOR system:
Save valuable production time:
•  testing is performed while your motor is running under normal operation loads,
•  the process is non-invasive so production continues running,
•  you don't need to tear down for visual inspection.

Improve safety - Remote testing is conducted at the motor switch gear, keeping you away from the motor, with use of clamp tranducers.
Gain valuable information -
Your data determines the fault conditions. No historical information is required.

STATORMONITOR™

Analysis of the Condition of Windings Insulation of High-Voltage Machine Stators with Use of Partial Discharge Method

30 - 40 % of high-voltage machines failures - a result of a defect or damage of stator windings.

Non-invasive Monitoring of Stator Insulation Condition
•  does not require to stop normal machine's run,
•  does not require to use high voltage for analysis,
•  does not require to know machine's history,
•  does not require traditional off-line examination on halt.

The technique based on 12-year experience.
•  the researches are led in Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen sponsored by British Petroleum,
•  the test on real objects led by ELECO Electrical Projects, Aberden, ESL Ltd Aberdeen,
•  wide use on drilling platforms on the North Sea on electrical machines of particular importance in hazardous environment.

Handy, Easy in Use Diagnostic System allows:
•  condition monitoring with unlimited access to tested machines,
•  analysis under direct computer control,
•  storage of the analysis results,
•  scheduling repairs,
•  trending of machine insulation life.
